The performance project KaraKara is based on the text of the same name by Aurélie Feucht, which tells the story of an ‘I’ that is transformed by an encounter with a raven.
The transformation or translation between different media is central to both the content and the form. The project works with video and sound, performance, painting, and photogrammetry, bringing these different approaches together in an immersive spatial installation. Themes such as self-discovery, fear and helplessness are dealt with in powerful visual language. The project translates these themes into an interdisciplinary performance that combines analogue and digital media.
